I’ve been a huge They Might Be Giants fan for a long time. I can remember their early stuff and marveled at the uniqueness/personality of their music. Lately they’ve ventured into music for kids as well as maintaining their adult stuff as well (Adult Stuff is the only thing I could think of.. BITE ME)..

A couple years ago they came out with a CD called “THE ELSE”. It was kinda easy to overlook with all the kids stuff that came out around that time, but as you go back and listen to the album it’s really good. This one song I can’t get out of my head. I blame MG for this. You started playing this album in your house and this is the only song I can’t get out of my head.

Not sure if it’s the connection to my growing up, but Hall and Oates falls into a unique place in my life. The Bird and The Bee is a band that has captured my attention (duh, chick vocals). They’ve put out a tribute album to Hall and Oates and well, the rest it history.

I’m in smit.

A few years ago, I had a podcast called The WhistlerVille Gazette. I really enjoyed doing it. It allowed me to be creative and have some fun.

Well, I miss it.

I’ve decided that come July, I will start up a new Podcast. The title has yet to be determined..

I’ve come on here many times in the past and said that “I’m really digging this band” and that “they’re really good”. This group(artist), Hello Saferide, is not only good, they’ve been practically the only thing I’ve been listening to for the past month.

I’m hooked and the melodies and lyrics are fantastic.

2009 has gotten off to an interesting start.

I could go into everything, but I’m gonna sum it up to say that this year will be a year of learning and growth.

2008 wrapped up with me making some major decisions to better the life of me and my daughter. 2009 will continue on that trend. Good things will happen. Good things indeed..
