I goosed Donald Trump. Yes! It’s true…
I’ve been sitting on some really cool news for the past couple days that I’ve been dying to share with you. I’ve been holding out because there was a certain picture that I know was taken and I was hoping to have someone send it my way. Well, lo and behold that has happened and it’s time to share my story with you…
Those that know me are well aware that for the past 7 years, I’ve been a professional mascot working for two different teams. In my years I’ve done some pretty silly stuff. This year, is no exception.
Wednesday night, I worked the Atlantic League All-Star Game in Somerset, NJ. This was my 3rd AL ASG so by now I’ve gotten to know quite a few people. We worked the pre-game and played in the stands with people and then went back inside to get ready for the pre-game introductions. My character’s name was called and I sprinted out and greeted the fans. Once out on the field, THERE HE WAS. “The Donald”! Donald Trump himself. It’s not that often you see a celebrity, but one at this close range was too cool.
Wearing my suit of invincibility (aka a large red cow suit) I worked my way up and got a picture with him.
Very cool! I think he was kinda constipated. Lord knows what the look on his face was for…
The best part game afterwords, or before, I don’t remember. It was all a blur, but when the dust settled,
I realized that I JUST GOOSED DONALD TRUMP!!
I swear I almost fell down from laughing so hard. Good times!
The rest of the night went well. But nothing like what had happened previously.
In retrospect, I know that Donald Trump is just another person. Was I star-struck. Nah! It’s just fun to do what I do and know that people out there get a kick out of it.
