May I take your order please?

Waitress:  May I take your order please?

Lady:  Do you have low-carb ham?

*record scratches*

Wha?  Um, hello?!?  I almost wanted to stand up and call her a doofus on the spot.

Silly lady, move along please.

go ahead, hog the covers, its okay

I’m on my way into work when I hear a cover of The Bee Gees “How Deep Is Your Love”; and it instantly put me in a good mood.

It got me to think that I enjoy covers of Bee Gees songs better then The Bee Gees themselves.

How ironic is that?!?  Those guys sure knew how to craft a song!!

Home is where the booty is….

I’m sitting in one of my favorite places to eat in all the world, but I’m sad because I miss my Mo.

I’ve had 6 hours of sleep the past two days, but I still miss her.

I enjoy being away from my office but I miss being away from home.

I’ve come to realize that

... my kid has some really hairy legs!

That is all.  Go about the rest of your weekend.

happiness is…

Trying to explain to a doctor how you hurt your finger while dressed as a giant red cow.

True happiness is knowing that you whacked the guy in the head with your elbow while working a hockey a few months back.

The Police - Round 1

There has been one concert that I have wanted to see ever since I could remember.  I’ve been a Police fan as long as I can remember.  I would tell people that I would travel up to 300 miles to see them live.  Thank God they decided to get back together and put on a summer tour.  Thank God that they decided to play a couple shows in close proximity to home.

Today’s adventure started with a poring nasty rain shower.  The show is outside and I’m like OMG what the heck is gonna happen.  Luckily enough the rain stopped just in time for it to take almost 2 hours to get from my office to Citizens Bank Park.  Ugh!  We finally arrive, pull in to pay for parking and they’re charging 20 bucks to park.  Hello?  20 friggen bucks!!  With that does it come with a free wash and curb service???  We pooled our money and came up with 10 bucks!  Oh, the curse of not carrying cash!

We had to do the drive of shame and cross the street to hit the CVS to get money.  We paid, we parked and we made our way in.  Our seats?  Oh my goodness!  They’re the Bob Uecker seats.  I’ve become good friends with a couple pigeons.

The Police are about to come on.  I will report more later.

10:20pm
In the 1st encore.  Wow!  What an amazing show.  I can’t believe that I’m here.  They sound amazing live.  Around me there is a cast of characters.  There was Fat Albert checking tickets.  Captain Underpants is drunk out of his gourd asking everyone for weed.  My favorite is K-Fed.  Dude is so white that he dances like Carlton from the Fresh Prince of Bel Air.

What a night to remember
